Secrets Must Forever be Secrets - Kimi

I walked side-by-side with Syaima’ while Amera with Safwa.  We both led the way towards the west.

We passed by many weird things such as the land of shapeshifters. There, the four of us weren’t sure if we were real. Ameera mistaken Safwa for a fake one. We were glad to leave the land of shapeshifters.

Minutes later, we found ourselves in the Forest of Mirrors. The trees were mirrors and we were in a maze. Safwa was with me in one lane of the maze, while Syaima’ and Ameera were on their own. Safwa and I kept on bumping into mirrors. The four of us found a way out after half an hour!

"If this keeps up, I don’t think we’re finding Kimi but finding new lands!” Syaima’ told me when we were out of the Forest of Mirrors. I gave out a chuckle.

“I hope we’ll find Kimi here.” Safwa said.” The four of us looked towards the front. There stood the Forest of Voices. In front of it, stood a sign. Ameera read the context.

“Speak and shout as they will,

Listen and entertain, you will,

Don’t be fooled for real voices,

Once fooled, forever lost!”

“Basically it’s telling us not to be fooled with these voices for real voices.” I explained when I saw their faces all in confusion.

“If we stick together, we shan’t get lost.” Ameera said in full confidence. We four chained hands and walked into the forest.

All types of voices went running around. Familiar voices like our parents’ and family members too could be heard. Safwa almost got lost when she heard her brother’s voice. She was holding my hand so I dragged her back to my side.

“Saf remember, don’t be fooled by the voices in this forest. Even if they are really close.” I reminded her cautiously. She gave a slight nod.

Suddenly, I heard Kimi’s voice calling me, “Nuha! Nuha! What’re you doing here?” At that exact moment, I stopped walking. Making the other three of my friends stare at me.

“Nuha what’re you doing?”

“Don’t be fooled, Nuha!”

“Nuha where’re you going??”

I started walking off deep into the forest and was deaf to whatever my friends had to say. I started to run while the others tried to keep up. “Nuha!...” I heard Ameera say while panting, “stop!!!”

I stopped running when I saw a dark blue wing. As if on que, a big blue figure came out of the row of trees. A big navy blue dragon was on its feet. It gave a roar and said in its majestic voice, “Climb on!”

The dragon let down its wing for me to climb on. Without any hesitation, I climbed on and it took off. While flying, I asked, “Kimi? Kimi, is this you?”

“What other navy blue dragon in this realm do you know?” It asked back. I took that as a yes.

Suddenly, arrows shot up to the sky for as far as I could see. “Umm… Kimi?!” I panicked.

Before Kimi could reply, 5 arrows shot him in the chest and we fell down rapidly. While we fell, I screamed for safety. Kimi then said, “Nuha! Remember! No matter what, secrets must always remain secrets!”

And with that, the world suddenly turned dark. The last thing I saw, was a net catching Kimi and Najla taking me with her flight. Other than that, I didn’t see.

Meeting the Bandana Brothers

“Well, I’m Safwa, obviously, and the one in grey glasses is Ameera, the one with the scar on her face is Syaima’ and the feisty one here is Nuha.” Said Safwa. I wasn’t shocked to be expressed as feisty.

“Well, miss feisty, for your information I’m not from Hogwarts, okay?” Said Azim. We all laughed. He took off his glasses in a way that I think he found stylish.

“Anyway, the bandana brothers?” Ameera said.

“We’re the brothers that have different powers. I hold the power of telekinesis and clapping, Yusof holds the power ice, Kimi holds the power of hypnosis while Azhan holds the power of stone.” Azim told us.

“You guys look like human. Are you?” I asked. By looking at their tanned skin except Yusof and Kimi who had fair skin, they looked like humans.

“Yeah we’re humans, but not the ordinary ones. Someone named Anas made us to protect you girls until tomorrow evening which is when you girls will go back to your dimension.” Kimi told us. I smiled. At least Uncle Anas made body guards for us.

“It’s night time.” Said Syaima’ as she looked at the sky outside the room window.

“Well, you’re staying here. We guys are going to rest in the room 1 floor down. And with that, the four men went one floor down. When the four of us were sure that they were gone, we lay down on the floor and talked.

“You know, it’s funny. How those four guys met us in a weird way.” Said Syaima’

“Especially the fact that they’re extra-ordinary humans.” Ameera joined.

“I know right?” I said.

“You guys want to know what the real weird fact is?” Asked Safwa. “The fact that Yusof, the guy in the red bandana, reminds me of my own brother.”

The three of us looked at Safwa in weirdness. Safwa shot us back a look and said, “what?”

“Saf, your brother is named Yusuf not Yusof.” I told her. I wonder if she had forgotten her own brother.

“I know. But his face. Don’t you guys think that the way his eyes and voice is?” Safwa replied. That left the three of us thinking. She’s kind of right. “It’s getting late. Nighty-night.” Said Safwa.

In the middle of the night, I woke up to the sound of something hitting the wall. I looked around. Ameera, Safwa and Syaima’ were still sleeping. I went out of the room and in search of the sound.

The sound led me downstairs; in the room were the boys were. I quietly opened the door and saw that the three of them were asleep. Wait, the three of them?

I looked on each of their necks. Yusof, Azhan and Azim were there. Where’s Kimi?

I turned around and saw Kimi looking at me. I opened my mouth to scream but he stopped me by saying, “no, no, no! Don’t scream!”

“What’re you doing here??” He asked me in surprise.

“I heard a sound of something hitting the wall and it led me down here. I thought of checking.” I told Kimi. “Do you know what that sound was?”

Kimi sighed, and said, “If I tell you, will you promise not to tell anyone? Not even my brothers?”

“Why? What’s so private that no one else can know?” I asked him.

“I’m the navy blue coloured dragon everyone has been talking about. The protectors of this realm are hunting for me. I don’t know how I got myself to turn into a blue dragon unwanted to. Please, I beg you. Don’t tell anyone!” Kimi told me.

I looked at him, mouth wide opened. Only then, I knew the answer to Ameera’s question when she asked the three magical creatures, “What’re you all protecting?”

“Kimi-“ Before I got the chance to finish, Kimi cut me off. “I knew I shouldn’t have told you.” Said Kimi as he took out a golden pocket watch and said, “when I count to three, you will fall into a deep sleep. One, two.. Three!”

A feeling of icy cold water came over my face. I opened my eyes and saw Ameera holding an empty bucket and myself drenched with water.

“Pah! What was that for?” I asked.

“Bro, we’ve been trying to wake you up for the past 15 minutes!” Syaima’ told me.

“What’s so important that I have to wake up so urgently?” I asked, annoyed to be awaken when not wanted to be.

“It’s about Kimi,” said Ameera, “he’s gone.”

Suddenly, a sudden memory came flowing back. About me and Kimi in the room and him telling me about him being the navy blur dragon that everyone’s afraid of. I opened my mouth to tell them but instead, just kept quiet as I remembered that I made a promise with Kimi not to tell anyone.

“Where’re the bandana brothers?” I asked.

“Waiting outside the building.” Safwa said. “What’re we waiting for?” I asked as I stood on my feet, “let’s go.”

We met the bandana brothers outside. Azhan was looking anxious, Azim was worried while Yusof was near to tears. It was amusing to watch.

“None of you have seen Kimi?” Asked Azhan while he bit his finger nails.

“For the 10th time today, no!” Ameera said in annoyance.

“Nuha?” Asked Azim. Everyone set their eyes on me. I bit my lip.

“The girl knows something,” said Azim as he drew closer. “What do you know??”

“N- Nothing! Absolutely nothing Azim!” I told him. He twitched his eyes. I twitched mine.

“Fine. If the silent treatment is what I get, so be it.” He said. “We’ll split up. You gals go to the west while we men will head east.”

“Anyone remember where the west was again?” Safwa asked with a grin.

“No,” Said Yusof, “But Kimi always knew where directions were! Waaaha!!” Yusof said while sobbing. Safwa and I gave out a slight giggle which Azhan heard. He shot us a look and too sobbed.

Safwa couldn’t control herself and laughed hysterically. I still giggled. “Come on you two,” Syaima’ told me and Safwa.

The four of us walked towards the west. Leaving the three sobbing boys behind. Well, all but Azim who was still looking at his two brothers in disgust. I laughed.

The View From Above

The view from above the Dungeon of Happiness was splendid. Everything was… Different! There were no humans but shape-shifting creatures. And no animals but some weird looking creatures. Like a bird had been turned into a half giraffe half snake. Imagine that.

I looked at my other friends. They all looked happy especially Safwa as she was the youngest in our posy of friends. I saw a group of trees that formed the words, “Dungeon of Happiness.” Some trees were even dancing! My oh my, was this weird or what?

We landed in the middle of a village where the people were all types of candy such as lollipops, marshmallows, chocolates and many other candy you could think of. I saw Safwa’s eyes sparkling. “I know that spark anywhere at anytime.” Said Syaima’ in her sly tone. “Safwa you better not be thinking of creeping up on that roll of mentos, do you?” Syaima’ called out.

The three of us saw the keen little Safwa, creeping up on a roll of sour mentos that was walking around. Najla giggled while Faiqah and Nurul smiled at the situation. The walking mentos turned around and saw Safwa. The roll of mentos stopped walking and Safwa did too.

After a few minutes, the roll of mentos pipped up, “Hallo!” And it brought Safwa a great sense of excitement. “Hah! A talking mentos! Oh me oh my, it spoke! Well hi there little mentos! I’m Safwa! Mind giving me one piece of mentos??” Safwa blurted out.

“Okay then. What flavour? I have strawberry, orange and apple.” Replied the little mentos. Mine, Ameera’s and Syaima’s mouth went wide open. The mentos would actually give Safwa a piece of its mentos?

“Orange! Please!” Safwa told the mentos. The mentos opened its wrapper from the top and took out one orange piece of mentos. It handed it over to Safwa and she straight away plopped it into her mouth. Ameera, Syaima’ and I stared at Safwa, mouth opened wide.

The mentos took out three more mentos and plopped it into our opened mouths. We chewed and a funny expression came on our faces.

“Sour!”

“Blee!”

“Plah!”

“O oh oh!”

“Haha!” Laughed the walking mentos. “I didn’t introduce myself, now didn’t I? Well, I’m Menoti.”

“Hah, Menoti and mentos.” Whispered Ameera to me. I gave out a giggle and punched her playfully.

Suddenly, a little plump marshmallow came running and started talking like an alien. Najla and the two other creatures seemed to understand and nodded. When the marshmallow had stopped talking, Nurul told us, “we have to go… now.”

The three of us grabbed each of us by hand and Najla had to grab both me and Safwa. The three of them flew as fast as they could. Suddenly, a voice called out, “hey, hey. You ain’t going anywhere this time.”

I looked down and saw a guy in a black bandana. He wore round spectacles like Harry Potter. The guy took out something and threw it towards Faiqah. It was only a metal ring and to my surprise, Faiqah fell with Syaima’ with a loud scream.

Next was Nurul then Najla. The five of us fell down rapidly. When we got to ground, fortunately a crowd of marshmallows were there to save our fall. Najla, Faiqah and Nurul had vanished; leaving me, Syaima, Ameera and Safwa alone with the villagers and the bandana guy. Two more guys came out of nowhere.

“Guys!” Safwa shouted, “take your little boxes and take your weapons!” As she shouted the words out, she threw the little boxes and we three caught them swiftly. Syaima’ and I took out our bow and arrows while Ameera and Safwa took out their out of the ordinary knives and a shield.

A guy in a red bandana came attacking me. I took out one arrow and he let out his hand. “Hah, is that all you got bandana boy?” I asked him with an evil grin.

“Oh you don’t know me well, little gal.” Said the guy as icy wind came out his hands and froze me. I made voices with all my might and the guy only opened his bandana and said, “oh you don’t worry. You’ll meet your friends soon enough little fighter. Haha.”

Meanwhile, the other girls were having their own difficult situation.

“Untie me from this chair!” Ameera shouted. A guy in a grey bandana had tied her up on a wooden chair. The guy walked to her and said, “You can dream on.”

As Ameera moved violently, the guy came closer and Ameera managed to take out her knife. The guy stepped back, and said, “oh come on. You won’t dare to hurt a guy like me, would yah?”

Ameera looked at the guy and moved her knife towards the guy’s chest. The guy in grey was swift enough to move and walked behind Ameera and turned her into stone, with her face stuck with a shouting expression.

“Oh don’t you worry little missy! You’ll be meeting your, posy later on.” Said the guy as he took off his bandana.

Syaima’ was still having trouble with a guy in a black bandana. Syaima’ fought with her bow and arrows while the guy fought with his nun chucks.

“Alright enough is enough!” Said the guy as he used his telekinesis to bring Syaima’ closer. When she was close enough, the guy clapped his hands once and Syaima’ fainted.

“Well it was about time.” Said the guy.

2 hours later…

Ameera, Syaima’ and I found ourselves in a room on the floor. I looked around. I saw a guy with the Harry Potter look at the corner of the room looking at me. A black bandana around his neck. There were two other guys. One of them had a red bandana around his neck while the other had grey.

“Finally out of the ice.” I said.

“Ah, out of stone!” Ameera said in relief.

“Wha, what?” Was Syaima’s first word after she awake.

“Finally, you three are awake.” Said the black bandana guy as he walked towards us with his two other men.

“Where did you come from? Hogwarts?” I joked as I looked at the black bandana guy. The ones in the red and grey bandana gave out a giggle and the one in black gave them a sharp look.

“I have to say, you do look like Harry Potter, Azim.” Said the one in red.

“If I were to be Harry Potter you were to be Lord Voldemort, Yusof.” Snapped the one in black who I guessed was named Azim.

The guy in grey was laughing near to tears with the three of us girls. Azim and the one in red who’s name was Yusof looked at the four of us in a sharp look.

We stopped laughing. I looked around the room and became worried. “Where’s Safwa??” I asked, alarmed. Ameera and Syaima’ exchanged glances and the three of us went into a fit of worries.

“Safwa? Who’s Safwa?” Asked Azim.

“Hey Azhan do you know who’s Safwa?” Asked Yusof to the guy in grey.

“How could I know? I don’t even know these girls’ names.” The one in grey who’s name was Azhan replied.

Suddenly, a muffled voice came from the corner of the room. We all looked towards that corner and saw Safwa being tied by a guy in a blue bandana.

“Hey, hey, hey,” I said. “You better stop tying that girl up before I shoot you.” I reached out for my bow and arrow and realized they weren’t with me. Ameera and Syaima’ searched for their weapons too but they were nowhere to be found.

“Where are our weapons?” Ameera asked Azhan.

“You have a choice; it’s either your friend Safwa or your weapons.” Azhan said.

“Safwa!” The three of us shouted. Azhan looked at the guy in the blue bandana and nodded towards him. The man in blue let Safwa go and she came running towards us. The three of us got on our feet and hugged Safwa dearly.

We four looked at the four men. They looked like relatives. The man in blue took off his bandana and said, “well, looks like I’m the only one who hasn’t made an indirect introduction. My name is Hakeem. Either call me Kimi or Hakeem.”

“Well girls,” said Yusof. “You four just made an encounter with the bad boys of the Dungeon of Happiness—The bandana brothers.”

New Friends

As Syaima’ and I were frozen with fear, the brown eyed creature climbed down the tree. Syaima’ still aimed her bow and arrow towards the creature while I just stared at it in wonder.

The two other green and blue eyed creatures followed behind the brown eyed. Syaima’ finally put down her bow and arrow. The three creatures walked towards us. They were like us, human sized. But they were different in a few ways. Their skin was scaly; their eyes had the shape of a cats’; and they had wings on their backs. And their skin was green in colour.

“Who or what are you guys?” I asked curiously. I was wondering if they could understand me.

The green eyed creature gave me and Syaima’ a smile, and said, “we are the protectors of the Dungeon of Happiness. Made by Prof. Anas.”

“What are your names? Or do you not have any?” Syaima’ asked.

“Of course we do!” Said the blue eyed creature.  “I’m Najla. The green eyed one is Faiqah while the brown eyed one is Nurul.”

“Nice to meet you all.” I said as I shook their hands. Syaima’ did the same.

“I’m Nuha while this one here is Syaima’.” I said. Syaima’ and I gave them a smile.

“Did you two come alone or do you have a group?” Asked Faiqah.

“Oh no. There are two other girls waiting for us somewhere not far from here.” Syaima’ told them.

“Can we meet them?” Asked Nurul excitedly.

“Sure!” I said. Najla and Faiqah let out their hands. “This is for…?” Syaima’ asked.

“You don’t expect us to let you two walk, don’t you? Come on, there’s a better view from the air!” Said Najla. Faiqah agreed. Najla and Faiqah spread their wings while their hands were still waiting to be held by me and Syaima’.

I held on to Najla’s hand while Syaima’ held on to Faiqah’s hand. The two of them took off after they were sure that we were in good hands.

Najla was right! The view from the air was spectacular! We could see the pink trees, rainbow coloured animals, and more. There was even a lake shaped like a heart!

“Can you see your posy from here?” Asked Najla.

I looked down. “Yup! Land here!” I told Najla. Najla, Faiqah with Syaima’ and Nurul landed right next to the place where Ameera and Safwa where sitting. Safwa got up with a startled look while Ameera was just amazed.

“What am I looking at?” Asked Ameera.

“It’s like a flying horse, but better!” Said Safwa in excitement.

“Guys, this is Najla, Nurul and Faiqah. Najla, Nurul, Faiqah, this is Ameera and Safwa.” I said.

“Nice to meet you.” Said the three magical beings as they bowed to Safwa and Ameera.

Safwa looked at them as if it were a dream while Ameera bowed back. “What is your position in this world?” Asked Safwa.

“We are the protectors of it.” Said Faiqah. “What are you all protecting?” Ameera asked. Syaima’, Ameera, Safwa and I looked at the three creatures, waiting for an answer.

Najla, Nurul and Faiqah looked at each other before saying, “That is for us to keep a secret and for you four, to find out.” Said Nurul. The four of us looked at each other. What did Nurul mean?

“Anyway, who wants to see the whole world from above?” Asked Faiqah, changing the subject. Everything that Nurul said was forgotten and the four of us held on to Najla, Nurul and Faiqah’s hand. All except Safwa.

“Oh the little one doesn’t have a hand to hold on to.” Said Najla in dismay. “No need to worry, I’ll call Zuhairah. Zuhairah!” Shouted Najla.

Suddenly, a gush of wind filled the air and a golden creature could be seen. It landed in front of the amazed Safwa.

“Who’s that?” I whispered to Najla.

“That’s Zuhairah, the leader of the protectors.” Said Najla.

I looked at Zuhairah. It was a bit different from the other three. It had golden skin, golden eyes but her skin was scaly like the other three.

“You called?” Asked Zuhairah as it looked at Nurul.

“Yes. These people want to see our world from above. But there are only three of us and that one right there, doesn’t have a hand to hold onto.” Explained Nurul.

Zuhairah turned her face towards Safwa’s. Safwa was grinning at Zuhairah’s serious looking face. After minutes went by, Zuhairah let out its hand for Safwa to hold. Without hesitation, the little girl held on to Zuhairah’s hand.

“Follow me.” Zuhairah instructed as she flew into the sky. Again, a gush of wind filled the air and our face too.

“Hold on!” Najla told me. The three magical creatures flew into the air; bringing me, Syaima’ and Ameera with them.

Another world

I woke up to the sound of birds singing or known as tweeting sweetly. The tune was merry. I was surprised.

I looked around. The place was nothing like our normal world. This place that I woke up to, everything was different. I mean, pink trees? Multi-coloured ground? Rainbow coloured animals? What was this place?

I looked to my left. I saw Syaima’ still sleeping with Safwa and Ameera. I woke them up. They too were surprised.

“Golly! What happened? Where are we?” Ameera asked as she looked around.

I felt something in my pocket. I took it out; it was a folded piece of paper. I unfolded it and there was a note from my uncle. I read it out loud.

‘This is my experiment. If you succeeded to enter this place, that’s one achievement. Congrats. This place is called Dungeon of Happiness. It’s a place where ‘things’, live. I made this to see if humans can live here. If you and your friends survive for 2 days. Good. If not, then my experiment is a failure and there is no way to revive any of you whom have died. So, good luck and don’t die.’
PS, whatever sound you hear in the night, do not move.

-Sincerely, Uncle Anas.

“Well that’s worrying,” Syaima’ said, “but at the same time, exciting.”

“I agree with you.” Safwa said.

I looked down and saw 4 little boxes that we had seen before we got here. “Why don’t we see what’s in these mysterious little boxes?” I suggested.

“Hmm! Why not?” Ameera agreed. She picked up her box, opened the lid and there came out life supplies. So the little box wasn’t so little after all, wasn’t it?

“Food, water, blankets…” Ameera said.

“Weapons such as knifes, a shield and more?” Safwa claimed in confusion. Ameera and Safwa looked at each other.

“I got those things in my box too.” Ameera said.

“Food, water and a blanket I received,” Syaima’ said. “But as for weapons, I got something different. I got a bow and 10 arrows.”

“Yeah, me too!” I said to Syaima’. We both looked at each other.

“What are these weapons for?” Safwa asked. “Is there something in this world waiting for it to be discovered?”

“Or are we the ones waiting to be discovered by it?” I asked back.

“Stop you’re creeping me out.” Ameera told me.

“Hey just giving the situation a bit of suspense, that’s all.” I told her with a smirk.

“By the way what time is it?” Syaima’ asked.

I looked at my watch. It didn’t show numbers but it did show some funny looking symbols. “I have no idea.”

“I think it’s somewhere near 12.00 PM,” Safwa guessed. “Looking at the sun, it looks like it’s just going to afternoon mode.”

“What do you all say for a walk in this world?” I asked them.

“I’m in.” Syaima’ said as she walked to me.

“You know what,” Safwa said as she looked at Ameera, “I think I’ll just sit down here with Ameera. We’ll guard the stuff, right buddy?”

“All right!” Ameera said as she gave Safwa a high-five.

“It’s settled then,” I said as I looked at Syaima’. “Come on Syai, let’s go!”

“Wait!” Said Safwa. Syaima’ and I looked back. “Yes Safwa?”

Safwa picked up Syaima’ and mine bow and arrows and brought them to us. “You might need this.” Safwa said.

“Good thinking!” I told Safwa. “Thanks Safwa!” And with that, Syaima’ and I walked into the forest of this weird looking world.

Syaima’ and I came upon weird looking trees, a group of rainbow coloured rabbits and many more weird things.

As we were walking, we suddenly crossed upon a big turquoise coloured tree.

“Wow…” I said.

“It’s huge!” Syaima’ said.

Suddenly, as we were admiring the big and beautiful tree, a sound came from the leaves of the tree. Syaima’ and I took a step back. “What was that?” I whispered.

Syaima’ and I looked all around the leaves. “There!” Syaima’ whispered. I looked to where she was pointing and saw 3 pairs of different coloured eyes. One pair was green, the other was blue and the last one was brown.

The both of us got ready with our bow and arrows, ready to shoot. Suddenly, one of them called out, “Wait don’t shoot!”

Syaima’ and I went frozen with fear. What was that? What were those things? Where they going to harm us?

Uncle Anas's Experiment

I was hanging out with my friends in the park. Ameera and Safwa were playing on the swing like children while Syaima’ and I were just talking.

“What have you been up to?” Syaima’ asked.

“Why do you ask?” I said.

“You know, your uncle being an experimenter, you might be having plans for the holidays.” Syaima’ said.

“You do have a point,” I said. “But unfortunately, no. My uncle hasn’t come up with any other experiment.”

“Remember the experiment where your uncle turned Ameera into a vulture for a week?” Syaima’ said while laughing.

I only laughed. That memory still tickled ourselves.

“Hey! You do know we can here you right?” Ameera said from a far as Safwa was laughing uncontrollably.

My phone suddenly rang. I looked at the screen. It was my uncle, Anas.

“I smell an experiment.” I said. Syaima’ sat closer to me.

“Well, what are you waiting for? Pick it up!” Syaima’ said. And with that, I did.

Me: Hey Uncle Anas.

Uncle Anas: Glad you picked up. So, guess what? I’ve come up with an experiment!

Me: Great! So, does this experiment allow my friends?

Uncle Anas: Sure! Come with your friends at 10.00 AM.

I looked at my watch. It was 9.30 AM. “Sure! We’ll be there.”

“Great! See you in 30 minutes! Bye!” Said Uncle Anas. And with that he hung up.

“Sooo..?” Safwa asked.

“My uncle has made a new experiment!” I told them. They were all excited.

“Who’s going to be the next vulture?” Syaima’ asked. Ameera hit her affectionately. “Hehehe!”

“I don’t know. My uncle didn’t say what experiment he came up with. I guess we’ll be finding it out soon!” I said. “Now come on. Get in my car; I promised my uncle that we’ll be there by 10.00 AM.”

We all got into the car and zoomed off to my uncle’s house. Wondering what he had come up with this time.

💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥💡💥

10.00AM

We reached my uncle’s house. We saw him smiling from ear-to-ear. We got out of the car.

“Thanks for coming.” Said uncle Anas as he gave me a hug.

“I wouldn’t miss one of your experiments for the world!” I said.

“Hey Mr.Anas.” Said Ameera and Safwa.

“Hello girls.” Said Uncle Anas.

“Mr. Anas.” Said Syaima’ with a bow.

“Syaima’.” Said Uncle Anas as he too bowed.

“Come on! I can’t wait to see another one of your experiments!” I said as I shook my uncle’s hand like a child.

“Okay, okay. Calm down you.” My uncle answered with a smile. “Come on, follow me.”

We followed him until we reached a room. In that room was ingredients for other experiments, tubes, potions and more sciency stuff.

I looked all around the room and saw something new. 4 beds with little boxes on each of them.

“Is that the new experiment?” I asked as I pointed out to the beds.

“Correct.” Said my uncle.

“What do we need to do?” Safwa asked.

“Just lie down on the bed.” Said my uncle.

We all did as we were told. “So what are the boxes from? And what is going to happen?” Ameera asked.

“This is what’s going to happen,” my uncle started. “You see that button next to your bed Syaima? Yes the red one. Syaima’, when I count up to three, you are going to press that button, got it?”

Syaima’ nodded. “Understood.”

“The little boxes, what are they for?” I asked.

“Well my dear niece, you and your friends will find out later.” Answered my uncle. “One, two… Syaima’ get ready! Three!”

Immediately, Syaima’ pressed the button and all of us slept. The last words I heard my uncle say to me was, “You’ll be in there for 2 days!”

There? Where is there?

Life of Fariha

There was once a girl named Fariha. Now, Fariha used to live in a family where her parents spent a lot of family bonding time with her and her brother Fahmi.

But one day, it all changed. Her father passed away because of brain cancer so her mother had to work all day long as a half-time maid.

Fariha was only 12 years old while Fahmi was 15. At school, Fariha was usually made as a victim for the bullies. But Fahmi was always there to defend his little sister.

“Useless orphan!”

“Better of you die!”

Were the usual sentences that would be heard by Fariha.

One day, again the same bullies ridiculed Fariha. Fahmi came to the situation and pushed the bully aside.

“Back off Azhar! What’s you and your gang’s problem against me and my sister huh?!” Fahmi asked angrily.

“This school is a school for rich kids. Your mother doesn’t even have the money to pay off the school bills. Can’t even support you and Fariha. So, tell me; what’s the use of seeing a useless kid walking around the school hallways when even this kid knows that she’s living in a world of torture? So, better off she die.” Azhar said as he pushed Fahmi onto the school gate where Fahmi’s head starting bleeding.

“Fahmi!” Fariha shouted. Azhar and his goons circled up Fariha. Fariha being quick, ran back home.

1 week later, Fahmi passed away. And Fariha had to stop school. Since then, Fariha helped her mother in her job as a half-time maid.

After one month of working, Fariha’s mother got ill. She had a severe fever. Fariha didn’t have enough money to get her mother medicine so just had to pray that her mother would get better soon.

When her mother’s fever got critical, it was time for Fariha’s mother to leave Fariha too. After her mother’s death, Fariha still continued to work as a half-time maid at the same house that her mother use to work at.

The owner of the house, claimed that Fariha wasn’t doing her job properly and didn’t let her continue as his maid. Fariha being only 12, didn’t know what to do and only started living the life as a beggar.

Fariha started living on the road side or at the bus station. Started eating food that she found the garbage bin or either food that she would receive from generous people.

One day, Fariha turned ill. Day by day, her condition got worst and she became so weak that she couldn’t even stand up.

Fariha knew that the time of her death was surely not far away and drew something on a piece of paper.

Before Fariha’s time came, she folded the piece of paper, stuffed it into her pocket and lied down. Her eyes started to close, her body felt stiff and soon, she was gone.

When people found her, they called an ambulance. At the hospital, as they were getting Fariha to the morgue, a lady noticed the paper that Fariha had folded before her death.

The lady took the paper and unfolded it. Inside, she found a drawing of Fariha and her family, spending time together at the park.
