Haunted Forest

Ben and Finn were told that there was a haunted forest on the other side of the road. “Why don’t we test our bravery by going into the haunted forest?” Asked Ben. “Go into the haunted forest? Oh no, no, no. I’m only 18 years old and I’m too young to die.” Said Finn with a horrified look on his face.

“Oh come on! Since you were eight years old, you had been such a scaredy cat! It’s time to grow up!” Said Ben. “Fine. I guess you’re right.” Said Finn. “Now that’s the spirit.” Said Ben.

In the middle of the night Ben and Finn met at the park. “Are you ready?” Asked Ben. “Ya… I guess so.” Said Finn nervously. The both of them went into the forest. The forest had no street lights or any houses around. Only a lonely, dark and quiet forest.  “You know, I’ve always imagined that there was a monster that had sharp claws, moved quietly and was big always watching people that walked into the haunted forest.” Shared Ben. “Oh really?” Asked Finn. Suddenly, they felt like, they were being watched. “Ben, do you see those red lights in the distance?” Asked Finn. “Yes why?” Asked Ben. Finn went to Ben’s ear and whispered “Run for your lives!!” The both of them ran with all their might. They heard a loud growl. Suddenly, Finn fell down. “Finn!” Said Ben. “It’s okay my friend. Leave without me.” Said Finn. Ben ran very fast until he reached his house. He realized that at the back of his shirt was ripped off. From that day on, Ben never went into the haunted forest ever again.
