There was a boy name Irfan, who liked to paint. One day, his
mother bought him a new paint brush. The paint brush wasn’t a normal paint
brush like you see in the shops. Anything you paint with this particular paint
brush, it will come true.
Irfan was painting in his room. He was using the paint brush
that his mother had bought him. He painted a picture of his mother buying him a
black and white cat. “Ding dong!” It
was the doorbell. Irfan quickly went down stairs to greet his mother. The
moment he opened the door, he saw a black and white cat in his mother’s hand. “Irfan,
look what I got for you.” Said his mother. (Blue words mean that he/she is
talking in his heart.) ‘But, that was just like the
painting I had painted! It came true. Maybe the paint brush isn’t an ordinary
paint brush.’ Said Irfan in his heart. Irfan took the cat into his room,
and identified the painting of the cat, with the real cat. “The painting and
the cat is identical!” Said Irfan.
The next day, Irfan painted a bird was hurt and Irfan helped
it. Suddenly, he heard a sound outside “Tweet, tweet!” Irfan ran outside. He
saw a bird. It was hurt. Irfan helped it to get back on the tree. ‘Just like the painting!’ Said Irfan in his heart.
Weeks went by and, the more things Irfan painted, the more
it will come true. Until one day, Irfan’s friend wanted to borrow the paint
brush. “Okay.” Said Irfan. Irfan had forgotten to tell Shakir, his friend, that
the pain brush was not normal and, whatever he painted, it’ll come true. Shakir painted a picture of Irfan drowning under
the bridge near their house.
Meanwhile…
Irfan was sitting on the edge of the bridge near their
house. Suddenly, Irfan begin to slip. He fell and drown.
The next day...
Shakir got the news that Irfan had drowned and died. At that
moment, he knew that the brush wasn’t normal. He broke the brush into little
tiny pieces and threw it away. Who knows, maybe somebody else found the brush,
and started painting with it.
